Level Railing Kit: for 36″ high level railing kits a 38″ high post is recommended.
Stair Railing Kit: for 36″ high stair railing kits a 48″ high post is recommended. Depending on the slope/grade of the stairs and position of the post, you may need a post longer than 38 inches. You can always cut the post down to the height that you need.
